Chamois Leather – Stability and Support for Your Ceramic Work
Use the chamois leather under your bat system for extra stability – especially if your potters wheel does not have pins. It prevents the plates from sliding and offers a more calm and controlled turning process.

💡 Tip: Use a damp chamois leather under your pieces to avoid deformation during drying.
We recommend going one size down (i.e., if your potters wheel is Ø30 cm we recommend that you order a Ø28 cm chamois leather) as real chamois leather expands when it gets wet and used.
